Academic
I’m a sophomore studying astronomy and data science at UIUC. My technical interests center on HPC and big data for modern astronomy. Currently I collaborate with Ilia Kato at Northwestern’s CIERA on POSYDON-based population synthesis. Outreach is also deeply important to me, and I’ve given talks at Harper College and with the Northwestern Suburban Astronomers.
Interests & themes
- Simulating binary stellar evolution and mass transfer with POSYDON
- Large-scale data visualization utilizing various Python packages and homebrew methods
- Scientific communication
